The Study On The Historical Nihilism Of Universities From The Perspective Of Ideological Security

After the mid-1980 s,the inner contradiction in China’s social deep level was generally magnified,coupling with the complex and ever-changing international political environment,the struggle between different ideologies became ever more violent.In this context,in the name of developing “academic research”,the historical nihilism gradually emerged in China through academic activities,literary film and television works,online media and other channels,and gradually penetrated into some colleges and universities in China,it propagated erroneous historical research methods and implicit undesirable political intentions,and had a great threat on ideological security of China’s colleges and universities and even the state.In the ideological security perspective,the depth study of the current historical nihilism phenomenon in China’s universities,the explosion of effective measures to resist the historical nihilism trend in colleges and universities,are the important ways to construct the forward position of ideology work in colleges and universities and safeguard national ideological security.This paper starts from the related concepts of ideological security and historical nihilism,elaborates the connotation and importance of ideological security as well as the nature and error of historical nihilism respectively,so as to point out the danger of historical nihilism thoughts proliferation in China’s national ideology.And then through analyzing the current situation of historical nihilism in C hinese universities,to point out the importance and urgency of resisting the historical nihilism in colleges and universities,as well as purposes some concrete countermeasures and suggestions to resist the historical nihilism of colleges and universities on this basis.The article holds that,with its strong concealment and other features,coupling with the lack of judgement of the teachers and students who acted as the representative of part of the young intellectuals and other factors,thus historical nihilism gradually flooded in China’s colleges and universities.The flush historical nihilism thought has led to the confusion of teachers and students’ concepts and the nothingness of values,and also led to the shift of political beliefs of party member cadres in universities and the loss of social confidence,which further affected the stability of teaching order in colleges and universities as well as weakened the ideological and political education function.Therefore,it is very important and urgent to resist the flood of historical nihilism in colleges and universities.This paper points out that,in order to resist the flood of historical nihilism in colleges and universities,we must not only lay the ideological basis,but also must do well in specific measures.From the ideological basis point of view,we have to hold three thought weapons: Marxist historical materialism,patriotism national spirit and the "four self-confidence" of socialism,use the right thinking weapon to break the theoretical trap of historical nihilism.From the specific measures point of view: we first need to act in the national level,to promote the popularization research of Marxism,and promote the socialist core values as well as strengthen the network supervision of social thought;secondly,we need to act in the university level,to strengthen the party building in colleges and universities,to improve and perfect the ideological and political education curriculum system,as well as carry out targeted academic activities and social practice activities;finally,we need to act in individual level,to strengthen our own learning of scientific theory,to improve our political sensitivity and actively participate in social practice.Balance promoting these three levels,and resolutely resisting the erosion of historical nihilism.
