Recent years,education world has paid more attention to autonomous learning and the task-based teaching.Autonomous learning not only promote students' academic achievement,but also lay the foundation for their lifelong learning and development.At present,normal schools face to the situation of development difficulties and poor students' resource,which makes our classroom teaching really need to reform.So the current computer basis teaching should not only impart the computer knowledge to students,but also develop their self-study consciousness and autonomous learning ability in order to help these students to learn by themselves.Thus,students are sure to have the condition and basis of lifelong learning,besides,they can promote themselves continually during their future work.The task-driven teaching emphasizes “learning by doing”.For the computer is a discipline with very strong practicality,teachers can make use of task-driven approach.The approach points that teachers should start with the tasks closely linked with students' interests or their life according to the different teaching contents design and students' daily study and life.The teaching approach helps to stimulate students' learning interests in taking part in the tasks actively.So it's good for improving the classroom teaching efforts and students' learning competence by arousing their learning initiative and active participation.By analyzing the literature,I find that the autonomous learning and the task-driven teaching have some teaching concepts in common.Both the autonomous learning and the task-driven teaching emphasize the point of “student-centered”.Thus,the organizers are the teachers,helpers and promoters during the learning.Besides,the autonomous learning and the task-based teaching have the similar teaching model.So I try my best to use the task-based approach during the computer classroom teaching for normal school students.I hope the approach can change the following situation,such as the lower motivation,lack of learning methods and the poor autonomous learning ability of the normal school students.The investigation is carried out in two classes that I am teaching.I have made a contrastive study for the experimental class and the contrast class.The task-based teaching is made use of in the experimental class,while the traditional method in the contrast class.But,the experiment lasted for a term.Before and after the experiment,I have given out the questionnaires to the students for twice respectively to know about their inner motivation,cognitive strategies,metacognitive strategies as well as the resource they used.By pretest and posttest,I collected some data to help me to make a contrastive analysis.The experimental result indicated that students of the experimental class have a remarkable improvement on their academic achievements and there are some significant differences on the inner motivation,cognitive strategies,metacognitive strategies as well as the use of resources for students of the experimental class and the contrast class.These differences show that the task-based teaching method can stimulate students' learning motivation and interests effectively and help students to master more cognitive strategies,to strengthen their metacognitive ability and to learn to make full use of learning resources.So the task-based teaching are helpful for students to improve their autonomous learning ability effectively.
