As a new technology,the virtual reality technology has been applied in various areas.Technology changes our lifestyle,and the emergence of virtual reality technology brings more possibility to the traditional teaching.The birth of the virtual reality technology changes and upgrades the traditional teaching tools.As a new teaching tool,it can stimulate learners' interest of learning,and improve the teaching effect a lot,particularly for the science which is emphasis on practice,such as geology,engineering technology and so on.Virtual reality can reduce the degree of risk of traditional teaching practice in which out of training budget,lack of training resource,and limitation of the number of times of internship might appear.With the rapid development of science and technology,constantly updating the traditional teaching tools is also very necessary,and looking into the new technology is beneficial to exert the power and potential of the technology,promote the upgrading of traditional teaching,and improve teaching effect.Studying the construction model and dissemination pattern of the virtual reality will be beneficial to us get better understanding of it,and then help us apply it to the teaching platform in a much more effective and more reasonably way.Education bears the national hope of development and prosperity.Education injects new vitality and driving force into the great revival of our nation and the growth of our motherland.This thesis is based on the communication,studying the transmission problems in the application of virtual reality to teaching,emphasizing on the construction model of application of virtual reality technology in education,the factors which affect communication effect,and the suggestion and strategies of optimizing the communication effect,in order to give full play to the capacity of the virtual reality technology in teaching,achieve the communication purpose,and improve the teaching effect.This thesis aims to explore the application of virtual reality technology in teaching area in a comprehensive and scientific way,especially in science which emphasizes on practical activities,through documentation method and survey method,and then puts forward targeted communication strategies and Suggestions.This thesis is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is introduction,elaborating on the background and research significance of this paper,neatening the present research and applications about virtual reality technology,and found out that the domestic research and foreign research are rarely involved in communication research of virtual reality technology in teaching application area.On the basis of the related studies,the thesis lists difficulties,significant,and innovative points.The thesis could be completed with the help of documentation method and survey method.The second chapter treats virtual reality technology itself as the research object,constructing virtual reality model through the study of the characteristics and clues of virtual reality technology.The clues of virtual reality technology mainly consists of virtual appearances,virtual behavior,virtual environment and the interface features of the virtual reality,which will be influenced by subjective and objective factors in the process of transmission,such as disseminators' intentions,personal experience and characteristics of the media.The third chapter trims the usage condition,current situation and problems of the application of virtual reality technology in the teaching area on the basis of analyzing advantages of this technology.Although in recent years,the virtual reality technology has made great progress,and compared with the traditional transmission mode,it has many irreplaceable advantages,defects and disadvantages are still existed in it,and the problems might occur in the process of application.The fourth chapter analyzes the communication process of the application of virtual reality technology in teaching field on the basis of activity theory.On the basis of studying the subject,object,and tool,this chapter studies the interaction between virtual reality technology and participators,and then conducts further study of influencing factors which will affect the experience result,and construction mold of virtual reality technology in teaching process.On the basis of the research in chapter four,the fifth chapter puts forward the strategies and suggestions of virtual reality technology in teaching application,and importance and necessity to combine virtual reality teaching method and traditional teaching method,so as to achieve the integration advantages of virtual reality and traditional teaching method.In the conclusion part,the thesis made a summary.First,it affirms that as a new teaching tool,virtual reality technology upgraded the teaching tools,changed the traditional teaching way,and played an important role in education.Second,through the research of virtual reality model,the current situation of the spread of virtual reality technology in the teaching application,and analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of virtual reality technology in teaching application,it puts forward that virtual reality technology as a teaching tool,we should integrate it with the traditional teaching method,so as to give full play to their respective advantages,create much more possibilities for the teaching,and improve the teaching effect.Finally,the shortcomings of this thesis are that the application of virtual reality technology is just beginning,the study of exploration is limited,and the strategies which are listed in chapter five mainly depend on theoretical analysis.From the perspective of communication,this thesis studies the application of virtual reality technology in teaching application,enriches the content of communication theory,and brings practical significance to further teaching application of virtual reality technology,which can promote the teaching effect,and develop the teaching method.
