This research investigates the status of junior middle school students' test anxiety.It also compares normal students' preference of sandplay tools and the students' with test anxiety.Besides,it analyzes the topic features of the first sandplay of the anxious students,and designs a group structure sandplay to intervene and reduce their anxiety,then verifies its efficiency.It contains four parts.The first part uses Test Anxiety Scale(TAS)to know students ' anxiety,and tells the difference between different grades and genders by analyzing the test result.In this experiment,the students who are stable or with mild anxiety while facing tests are defined as normal.While students who are with moderate or severe anxiety are defined as test anxiety students,and they are tested in later researches.In part two,30 students with test anxiety who are chosen in the first part are tested,and 30 normal students are also chosen as the anchoring group.Grades and genders are taken into consideration in both groups,they have the same element structure.Also,the eye movement experiment is carried on in both groups,and their preference for tools is inspected,which can help to choose the right tools for the group-structured sandplay.The third part is about the making of the initial sandplay by the chosen students,and then it analyzes the topic features of the first sandplay,which provides the basis for designing the topics of the group-structured sandplay in part four.The last part is a practical study on the experiment of the 30 students who are considered as the ones who has test anxiety.The 30 students are divided into two parts: 12 as the experimental group and 18 as the anchoring group.The experimental group is intervened in groups of two,while no intervention is done to the anchoring group.According to the conclusion made in the second part,the tools in the sandplay room are in need of being adjusted.And on the basis of the analysis of the topic features of sandplay in part three,a model containing 3 stages and 6 topics in group structure sandplay is designed.Finally,the target students are asked to have an after-test through TAS.Through comparing the before-test and after-test,the efficiency of group-structured sandplay to relieve junior middle school students' test anxiety can be proved.Based on the experiment condition,and combined with the result got from the four experiments above,a conclusion is summarized as follows:Evident difference of the levels of test anxiety doesn't appears between genders,but between different grades.Students in Grades 7 and 8 are more anxious than students inGrade 9 before a test.There is an obvious difference of the choice of sand tools between normal students and the ones with test anxiety.The later ones prefer to choose shadowed and broken tools,one about fairy tales and cartoons characters,or human-like models.The analysis of the first sandplay can help to get to know students' test anxiety,and can also present the clues and directions between inner resource and how to solve problems.The first sandplay of the tested students appears two topics: one is about traumatizing and the other is about healing,and the former appears obvious than the latter.On account of the analysis of the topic features,the group structure sandplay model can be efficiently used to relieve students' test anxiety.
