There is a phenomenon in the teaching of "design and application" in primary school art.Teachers pay attention to training students’ ability to design,and it is easy to ignore the importance of students’ application of the works.The teaching of "design and application" is not only let students know how to design,but also let them understand the function of the application of their own works,and form the self realization of personal meaning and value.This article mainly explores the application of the works designed by students in the field of "design and application" of primary school art,and strengthens the application of the works so that students can form themselves.According to the main problems in the field of "design and application"of primary school art,this paper summarizes the corresponding solutions.In the implementation of specific courses,the use of appropriate and effective teaching strategies to promote the formation of self realization of students.This research is qualitative research,combined with case analysis,set up a lesson"glasses design" in the "design and application" field of the fourth grade textbook.The practice of teaching begins in the school attached to GongShu teacher’s training school in HangZhou.In view of the practice of curriculum practice,the paper analyzes the main factors that affect students’ self realization.In the process of teaching and learning in the field of "design and application" of primary school art,it is necessary to strengthen the application of "design and application" teaching by focusing on the guidance of functional use,pointing the application to students who are familiar with themselves or in life,providing students with the time of applying works,can better promote the students’ self realization.This will help teachers to further thinking about the "design and application" teaching,and promote the development of primary school art teaching in this field.
