Domestic related research points out children with autism in the family face more pressure than the family with normal children or other disabled child.Their families have low degree of physical and mental health,quality of life level is not high.This implies that the children with autism are the “root” of the whole family negative outcome.Although children with autism appear can bring challenges to the family,but we can not ignore their positive contributions to family.In order to more comprehensive understanding positive contributions of the family with autism inland,we need to be aware of the status of positive contributions of the children with autism and influencing factors.So we can to promote domestic positive outcomes to explore the promotion the mechanism.In this study,a questionnaire survey was carried out on the status of the family positive contributions and social support with autism according to the self-designed Questionnaire survey of the family positive contributions with autism and Zhang Meryun revised social support scale.Participants were 337 parents of 0-12 year old autism from Chongqing,Hunan and Guangdong.The aims of this article were to get the status of positive contributions and social support and the relationship between them of the children with autism in family.The research results are as follows:1.The self-designed Questionnaire survey of the family positive contributions with autism includes six dimensions: the work development,happiness and a sense of accomplishment,through the experience learned special knowledge,the expansion of the social relations,personal growth and maturity,and easier to understand the meaning of life.The reliability of the whole questionnaire reached 0.94 and each factor's reliabilities were 0.658 and 0.886.Each dimension correlation coefficient is moderate correlation,between 0.446 and 0.726.The various dimensions and questionnaire overall coefficient is highly correlated,between 0.709 and 0.898.2.The status of positive contributions of children with autism in family.Generally,the family of children with autism had a middle level.Positive Contributions level had significant differences in parents' educational level,parents' employment,urban and rural,family income,children's gender and the degree of disorder.Positive contributions level didn't exist significant differences in parents' gender,household form,the number of children,the parents found children barriers of age,the main caregivers and the nature of the school.3.The status of social support of children with autism in family.The family with autism had been given priority to with tool support,informal support from family members,more formal social support from the Disabled Persons' Federetion and school personnel.4.The relationship between positive contributions and social support.There existed very significant positive correlation between positive contributions and social support.The emotional support,formal and informal support can effectively predict the family positive contributions.According to the results,the researcher provides the relevant advice to promote the positive contributions of family with autism.
