A high-level creative ability will lead to a prosperous nation,while the country lacked it would suffer from deficient development.The Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC put forwards innovative talents is the prerequisite for building up a powerful country facilitated with strong creativity,Master graduate students as a national high-level talent,we must attach great importance to the cultivation of innovative ability.The vigorous development of the Maker movement provides a new path for the cultivation of the creative ability of postgraduates,as an important carrier of the Maker movement,it is not only the practice field of the incubation innovation of the postgraduates,but also the background of innovation to enhance the level of innovation ability of postgraduates new ideas.At present,there is little research on the Makerspace,the research on the creative ability of postgraduates in colleges Makerspace is especially rare.The training of the creative ability of postgraduates around the Makerspace has gradually become a major and necessary subject,and conducive to the development and enrichment of the Makerspace academic research theoretical results.This paper expounds the connotation,constituent elements,characteristics and theoretical basis of the postgraduates’ creative ability and the space of the guest space,and on the basis of this,the author discusses the relationship between them,it is believed that the factors such as Maker,the project item,cultural atmosphere,resources and other elements can promote the cultivation of graduate students innovative ability.In order to understand the status quo of the innovation ability of postgraduates under the background of Maker,this paper investigates the postgraduates of several universities in Chongqing;and according to the statistical analysis of the questionnaire data,it is found that the overall level of innovation ability of postgraduates is not high,and at the same time,it is further aware that the current innovation environment of colleges and universities can not meet the needs of graduate students’ innovation.In view of the favorable conditions for the cultivation of innovation ability,the article finally drawslessons from the Media Lab of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology,the New York University Laboratory and the Stanford University School of Design around the Makerspace platform for graduate students innovative ability to cultivate new methods and new ideas,It is of great significance to cultivate the innovation ability in the aspects of teachers,curriculum,creative space environment,idea of Makerspace and innovation atmosphere,and from the training enlightenment to explore the concrete countermeasures of cultivating and improving the innovation ability of postgraduates.
