After thirty years of rapid economic growth, China has overtaken Japan to become the world's second largest economy. As the cell of social economic operation, the enterprise is the source of economic development and the strong support of human progress. With the increasing attention to the heat of the enterprise, corporate social responsibility has become a focus issue in the society today. However, most of the domestic enterprises only concern about the economic responsibility and ignore the social responsibility of the enterprise, especially in the coal mining industry, both of the present attention and the situation of the enterprises' social responsibility are in the low degree. Not only the frequent occurrence of mine accidents, but also the low awareness of the enterprises' social responsibility, have directly resulted in personal casualties and property losses, exacerbated the conflict, especially brought the irrecoverable trauma to the victim's family. After the mine accident, it is not only hard for the victim's family to get rid of the misery, but also difficult for the survivors to stand the spiritual emptiness and the burden of life. At present, the government has introduced a series of compensatory policies, as well as the enterprises and the social fund have also proposed some support plans. But the support is limited to the economic level, which has not solved the potential problems of the victim's family fundamentally. Often these potential problems are the leading cause of suicide and autism. This paper is designed to explore a coal company in Jiangxi Province, P corporate 's social responsibility and the problems of the victim's family through the methods of questionnaire survey, interviews, and participant observation. In this paper, the author uses the social work theory and the method of social work to support the patients to get out of the predicament and help them adapt to the social environment. Through this process, we should strengthen the cooperation between enterprises and social work, and guide the enterprises to undertake their social responsibility. The social responsibility which the enterprises should fulfill of the accident is more than the economic compensation for the families. With the increasing social attention, there have complemented some relevant national policies and regulations in the face of mining accidents and other safety problems. Enterprises need to find a new path for its better social responsibility to help the victim's family get out of the plights.
