Since the new reform of curriculum and the “Comprehensive and Practice” was included in the “curriculum standard”,the mathematics activity has become a hot topic in mathematics classroom.The junior high school mathematics textbook published by People’s Education Publishing House showed the “Mathematics Activity” Column as an important carrier of“Comprehensive and Practical”,realizing the requirement of “Math Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition)” to “Comprehensive and Practice”.Although the new round of curriculum reform and new mathematics textbook has been implemented for 6 years and 5 years,respectively,the research showed that the development of “Mathematical Activities” is still not optimistic.For the further improvement and response to this phenomenon with a variety of reasons,it is necessary to study the content of the column about “Mathematics Activity”.In this study,the followed methods as literature research,theoretical research,text analysis,comparative research were used to discuss the concept,type and function of“Mathematics Activity” column.Then,the requirements of “new curriculum standard” to“Mathematics Activity”,the demand of students in junior high school for “Mathematics Activity” together with the characteristics of the “Mathematics Activity” Column were analyzed.Furthermore,this investigation also discussed the advantages and disadvantages of the contents design about the “Mathematics Activity” column in the junior high school mathematics textbook,as well as suggestions for further improvement.The details of the thesis were showed as followed three parts:First,on the basis of the relevant literature on the study of mathematical activities,this study defined the content of “Mathematics Activity” column and analyzed its characteristics,which put forward the six characteristics of "Mathematics Activity" as: the situation,the object,the construction,the purpose,the openness and steps.There are different activities of the main body to explain the type of "Mathematical Activity" column due to the characteristics of the activities.Among them,the activities are divided into six categories:hands-on,observation,mathematical experiments,data processing,planning and design,mathematical games,respectively.The main body is divided into three categories,that is,independent,two people cooperation,and cooperation.Second,they should have got the features of “Mathematics Activity” from the requirements of the new curriculum standards.Combining with the first part of the "mathematical activity" column about the overall characteristics,the fifteen specific characteristics of "mathematical activity" column are analyzed: Situational interest,Situational openness,Sources of problem situations,Correspondence with knowledge points,Knowledge and knowledge,The step of problem design,Diversity of problem solving methods,The openness of problem design,Openness of activity,Activity is not unique,Activity hierarchy,Embodiment of activity process,Diversification of activity evaluation,Diversification of activities,Guide questioning reflection.Last,the “Mathematical Activities” in the junior high school mathematics textbook published by People’s Education Publishing House is statistically analyzed and coded.According to the characteristics of the second part of the book,the content of the textbook“Mathematics Activity” is quantified.According to the statistical results,this study analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the content design of the "mathematics activity" column in the textbook,and made some suggestions for the existing problems.
