With the rapid development of science and technology,cultivating innovative talents has drawn wide social concern.Undoubtedly,to cultivate innovative talents is not only a long-term process,but also a systematic project.It is a worthy subject to explore a targeted strategy to develop their innovation and overall quality.In the phase of senior high school,there are students considered as math talented students.Not only do they possess a relatively higher intelligence quotient and solid basic knowledge,but also they are quick to comprehend,memorize and apply what they have learned.Besides,their understanding of a question is deeper than the average.Mathematics,a fundamental subject,plays a vital role in development of science and technology.Therefore,how to carry out individualized education and cultivation aimed at math talented students has been an important subject in high school math education,especially in the context of new curriculum reformation.Elaborating practice and feedbacks of cultivating math talented students in recent years,this essay is aimed at seeking out an effective method by practice.It contains the following aspects: the importance of research on nurturing math talented students;factors influencing math talented students' improvement and thoughts and conclusions drawn from the present cultivating process.Specialized cultivation of math talented students is a necessity in developing our country,society,science and technology.Also,it is a requirement from students-oriented education.There are many factors restricting further development of talented students.For one thing,the present curriculum cannot meet the requirement of talented students' individualized education.For another,teachers' teaching ideal and methods matters a lot.Besides,talented students' way of learning is another contributor.This essay sheds light on how to cultivate talented students through curriculum and teaching practice.Meanwhile,qualitative and quantitative analysis on the results has been revealed.On top of that,thoughts and conclusions on how to cultivate math talented students have been put forward.
