Providing quality early childhood education is a common pursuit in many countries.The government has attached great importance to the development of early childhood education and conducting early childhood education rating is a significant initiative in United States.The implementation of early childhood education rating is effective,especially for guaranteeing and improving early childhood education quality.Concentration on early childhood education rating in US,this study begins with the analysis of the background,presents the implementation of the system,explores the impact,discusses the features and raises some suggestions for the improvement of early childhood education rating in China.The study consists of six parts: The first part introduces the purpose?significance?definition of the key terms and research methods,and reviews the literature from domestic and foreign research literature perspectives.Part two: The background of Quality Rating and Improvement System in US.This part analyzes the social background of early childhood education rating in the end of 20 th century to the beginning of 21 st century in US,namely,policy impulse and realistic reasons.Part three: the implementation of Quality Rating and Improvement System in US.This part describes the basic content of QRIS in US,including goals,standards and procedures in detail.Part four: the features of Quality Rating and Improvement System in US.This part discusses the features of QRIS.Specifically,in terms of subject,its diversity and voluntary ensures the involvement of subject.Part five: the impact of Quality Rating and Improvement System in US.This part analyzes the effect of QRIS in US.It illustrates the elements of influence of children's development and promote their development;Secondly,it enhances the quality of early childhood education facilities and promote its sustainable development;Third,it deepens the understanding of child care of family and meets the requirements of high quality.Part six: the enlightenments of Quality Rating and Improvement System in US.Based on the analysis of the background,implementation,impact and features,this part puts forward some suggestions for the reviews in China.
