In currently, the most needs of our society is the person who has the creative thinking, and the original of the innovative behavior is asking questions, therefore cultivating the abilities of asking questions of the students is gradually emphasized by the educational world. For the current domestic research, the research about the cultivating the abilities of asking questions of the students in the biology teaching is less, comparing with the mathematics, physics and chemistry, moreover,it mostly focused on the factors of induction about influencing the abilities of asking questions of the students and the designs of strategy of cultivating the abilities of asking questions of the students, the research about the strategy practice is very less. This study summarized the reasons which influence the asking questions of the students based on the clearly knowing the situation of the students’ asking questions, moreover, designed the corresponding strategies to cultivate the abilities of asking questions of the students according to the influence reasons, finally, explored the effectiveness of these proposed strategies in the teaching practice. We hope to encourage the biology teachers in the junior high school to pay attention to the abilities of asking questions of the students in the biology, furthermore,to take effective actions to cultivate the abilities of asking questions of the students in the teaching. The research object of this study was the students and part of teachers coming from four parallel classes in eighth grade,42 nd middle school of Zhengzhou City. The basic situation about the abilities of asking questions of the research object was known using the questionnaire method and the teacher interview method including: has no motivation to ask biology questions because of lacking interesting;has the courage to ask question, but the abilities is not high;most of the students have the question, but little of the students can ask question actively;the quality of the asking question is not high because of lacking skills of asking questions;has no correct understanding about asking question, the subjective initiative is not strong;the students have no chance to ask questions in the class and so on.We got the facts which influence the asking question of the students based on a large amount of literature reading and investigation including: the subjective factors such as the interesting about biology, the understanding about the asking question, the habit of asking questions, the ability of doubt, asking method level, knowledge reserve and so on,and the objective factors such as teacher factor, evaluation guidance. On the basis of the above research, this study designed the following teaching strategies: changing the teachers’ view and build the environment suitable for students asking questions;enriching the students’ biology knowledge leading to students have doubts to ask;teaching the students the method of asking questions leading to students easily to ask;creating problem situation leading to students want to ask.We found that through teaching practice for every Thursday in 12 weeks: the students had more interesting in the biology,The classroom atmosphere is more active;Students take the initiative to learn biological knowledge,Students’ thinking is positive,Students are able to raise high-quality questions and improve their ability to express questions; The number of questions raised by students increased significantly, and the students’ ability to ask questions was enhanced;cultivating the abilities of asking questions of the students is good for students’ scores. Finally,we have discussed and rethought, and provided some reference for further research on the field of proposing problem.
