The "hydrolysis of salts" is the content of section 3 of chapter 3 in the high school chemistry elective 4-chemical reaction principle,this section includes the concept of"hydrolysis of salts" and its essence,the main factors influencing of the salt hydrolysis,the application of salt hydrolysis.This section is broad,abstract and strong theoretical,for the high school students whose various aspects of the ability is in the development stage,there are still some problems in understanding.Therefore,this section becomes the difficulties of the teachers' teaching and students' learning.The main learning difficulties can be summarized:(1)It is not clear to the understand of the concept:the understanding of the nature of "hydrolysis of salts" remains on the surface;(2)Students have a cognitive structure that is flawed:it is more difficult for students to connect the new knowledge with the original knowledge in the cognitive structure and assimilate new knowledge;(3)There is a thinking-set in the process of learning:cannot break the error of the original cognitive structure;(4)Plateau phenomenon appeared in the process of learning:There is low learning efficiency and even stagnant,the students lack of learning motivation;(5)Students may use inappropriate learning method:for the "hydrolysis of salts",students should pay more attention to the understanding of the concept and the integration of the knowledge,but they continue to use the previous methods of mechanical memory which can not achieve good results;(6)The content of "hydrolysis of salts" is strong theoretical and,the students lack interest in learning and have negative attitude.Elaborates the countermeasures mainly from the following several aspects:(1)Teaching should help students build complete knowledge system;(2)Teaching should help students construct the chemistry concepts;(3)Teaching should start from students' existing knowledge experience;(4)Teaching should build "macro-micro-symbol' triple characterization system;(5)Teaching should start from the experiment to mobilize the enthusiasm of students to learn chemistry.The author through the survey of the students,summarizes several difficulties encountered in the students' learning,and puts forward some solving strategies aiming at these difficulties.Through consulting relevant literature,combine with own experience designs"hydrolysis of salts" teaching content based on the chemical concept construction.
