The knowledge of mental health education for primary and secondary school teachers is a prerequisite for the implementation of the subject of mental health education in primary and secondary schools.However,there is little research to test this premise,this study attempts to carry out a preliminary test.This paper focuses on the research questions: how do the teachers of primary and secondary schools grasp the knowledge of mental health education? What are the factors? How to improve?The object of this study is primary and secondary school teachers,primary and secondary school teachers involved in the study of 282 people.Among them,59 male teachers,female teachers of 223 people,with an average age of 35.46 years.The study adopted the "knowledge" of primary and secondary school teacher’s mental health education questionnaire,including the validity of the questionnaire,teachers’ psychological health education in primary and secondary sources of knowledge assessment questionnaire of knowledge test of mental health education teachers is divided into three parts,the first two item questionnaire scoring method by Richter scale 5 point scoring,scoring 1,0 by the method of after a quiz.The study found that(1)of respondents failed to reach the total number accounted for only 29.1% of the total number;counseling psychology knowledge of the correct rate is 47%;the development of psychology knowledge and the accuracy rate was 35%;the knowledge of educational psychology the accuracy rate was 54%.(2)there are significant differences in gender,educational background,teaching age,age,teaching subjects,but there is no difference in the title,school type and school location.Generally speaking,the primary and secondary school teachers are not good at mastering the knowledge of mental health education.Gender,education background,seniority,age,teaching and other factors affect the mastery of knowledge.The related teaching materials and teaching activities are the main sources of the mental healtheducation of primary and middle school teachers.According to the previous survey,this paper puts forward the following suggestions:Pay attention to the primary and secondary school teachers with low educational background;pay attention to the teachers who have just entered the school and the teaching age;broaden the sources of knowledge;strengthen the knowledge training of some teachers.
