Junior school years are the beginning of the teenagers,also an important turning point from children to teenagers.Teenagers in junior school are of strong self-esteem in that they are sensitive to the outside evaluation and eager for high recognition.Therefore,once a teenager is ignored or discriminated by his teachers,his classmates and others,or he comes into conflict with them,he will be affected in the mood.If such students can't be detected and be taken effective intervention measures to,social anxiety in them is easy to occur,and they may gradually reduce or eliminate the necessary daily activities and social interaction,the further development for social anxiety disorder,which affects the individual's personality perfection and development.Therefore,the study in social anxiety of junior school students is of crucial importance which may play a role in their development in both physical and mental,the perfection of personality and successful adaptation to the society.Based on the previous research,according to the social avoidance and distress scale(SAD),this paper makes an investigation on the social anxiety of 418 students from two junior schools in Jinzhou,and analyzes the situation of the 418 junior school students in social anxiety.Referring to the theories and techniques in solutionfocused short-term therapy,the author provides a series of intervention solutions to lower the social anxiety of junior school students.What's more,it proves the effectiveness of the intervention solutions by experiments.The conclusions of this paper are as follows:1.Among the 418 participants,172 participants are in the trouble of social anxiety,accounting for the 41% of total participants.The social anxiety is popular among junior school students.2.Junior school students of opposite genders vary greatly in social anxiety factors.3.Junior school students of different grades vary greatly in social anxiety factors.Junior school students in grade 3 are more active in social withdrawal than that of grade 2 and 3.4.There is no significant difference among students from different areas or only child in social anxiety.5.There is significant difference between student cadre and those who aren't insocial anxiety.Those who were student cadre suffer less social anxiety than those who weren't.6.Solution-focused short-term solutions have been effective in lowering the students' social anxiety.
