The false memory for the final position of the moving target to move forward,it is called the representation momentum(RM,representational momentum)(Freyd and Finke,1984).As a psychological phenomenon of human adaptation to neural delay,it is of great significance for us to adapt to the dynamic physical world by characterizing the momentum effect.Previous studies found that the stimulation of representational momentum.besides the influence of background factors,but also influenced by the observer characteristics,especially the characterization of momentum effect size is influenced by the expertise of the characterization of momentum effect is often expert motion in the scene is stronger than the novice,the offset error occur along the greater performance as the expert representation momentum effect.However,it is still controversial whether the expert effect of momentum can be transferred to the general situation,and the expert novice paradigm is used,which can not be excluded from the confusion of individual differences.In addition,there are relatively few studies on the characterization of the mechanism of momentum.Therefore,in Experiment 1,for a period of 3 months of badminton training for healthy adults(three times a week,1 hours each time),using ERP technology,the classical representation momentum paradigm as the basis,we explore the changes of RM effect on time course of experts from the longitudinal perspective.In order to investigate the effect of the momentum effect on the short-term badminton?we compared the performance of 5 months after the end of training.The results showed:(1)At behavioral,in training group,subjects judged the same percentage did not change in the test stimulus that is consistent with the direction of the induced(error rate),but the test stimulus which is not consistent with the direction of the judge in the same induction significantly reduced the percentage of subjects;characterization of effect value increased significantly after the experiment;At neurological,the wave amplitude of N450 associated with conflict processing in the test stimulation which induced direction uniform and the difference wave which is the subtraction of uniform and non-uniform test stimulus significantly enhanced.These results indicted that the badminton training enhanced the spatial discrimination ability and the ability of automatic extrapolation(representing the momentum effect)of the subjects.That proved the causal relationship between the badminton training and momentum effect from the angle of the neurophysiology and can provides powerful causal support evidence which the momentum expert effect can be moved to the generalized implicit motion scenes.(2)After the end of the badminton training five months,in uniform and non-uniform test stimuli,at the same percentage and characterization of effect value,there was no significant difference between the first test and the second test results after the experiment,and there was significant difference before and after the experiment in the training group.These results show that the momentum effect and characterization of badminton training are persistent.
