Chinese education calls for educational innovation.The educational innovation advocates cooperative learning.At present,according to CNKI:there already have numerous studies in universities,high schools and middle schools.However,there is little research on the application at the junior grades of English Teaching in primary school.For students,the first several years are for them to build knowledge frames,and for teachers,that means an arduous mission.At this point,cooperative learning of application research is significant.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction.It includes research background,research purpose,research significance,and thesis framework.The second part is the summary of the cooperative learning theory.It includes the definition of related concepts,the research status of cooperative learning at home and abroad,and the theoretical basis of this study.The third part is the experimental process and analysis.In this study,literature research,questionnaire survey,interview,case study and comparative analysis were used for the experimental study.An experimental study was carried out in two parallel classes in a primary school in Shanghai for the study of the following two semesters.First of all,to carry out cooperative learning teaching cases and analysis of the primary school English classroom cooperative learning;Secondly,to analyze the current situation of the experimental investigation and the implementation strategy of the experiment,the breakthrough of the implementation phase is the combination of the content and process of the experiment,the reflection of the case;Finally,the research data comparison:one is the experimental class questionnaire survey,the second is the test results contrast of the two classes after the learning.The fourth part is experimental results and analysis.It includes the analysis of the questionnaire data,the analysis of the test results,the analysis of the questionnaire data and the answers to the questions.Through cooperative learning,students can improve their interest in English learning,enhance the interaction between students,promote students to participate in classroom activities,strengthen cooperation among students and improve students' quality test results.The fifth part is the conclusion.It includes research results,limitations and shortcomings of this study and reflection of this study.Finally,through the application of cooperative learning in English teaching at the junior grades of primary schools,with SPSS19.0 data analysis software for experimental data analysis,it is concluded that the application of cooperative learning is an effective way to promote English teaching at the junior grades of primary schools.It can bring some reference value for the teachers and educators.
