The Technical And Tactical Analysis Of Zhang Jike And Ma Long In Playing Celluloid And Plastic Ball

In this research,we have studied the techniques and tactics used by the two outstanding world table tennis players Zhang Jike and Ma Long in the game of using celluloid ball and plastic ball.We use literature,video statistics and three-stage index evaluation method to compare and analyze the game technical and tactical development characteristics after the use of plastic ball and evaluate the influence of plastic ball on personal techniques and tactics from several aspects such as technology,placement and tactical combination.This paper draws the following conclusions:(1)In the attack-after-service stage,Zhang Jike serves worse when using the plastic ball than using the celluloid ball.He gets attacked more often at the third stroke and uses more near-net placement,less bottom line placement.Zhang Jike uses more backhand tear technology at the third stroke and the scoring rate increases.He attacks less and defenses more in the first and third stroke tactical combination.(2)In the attack-after-reception stage,Zhang Jike has greater advantage in the use of return of service inside twists techniques and has less bottom line placement.He uses more attacks at the fourth stroke,more near-net placement,less bottom line placement and more bottom line backhand techniques.In the second and fourth stroke tactical combination,the use of attack-after-control is more often.(3)In the stalemate stage,Zhang Jike attacks opponents more at the fifth stroke but has worse result when using the plastic ball than using the celluloid ball.In the third and fifth stroke tactical combination,he mainly uses continuous attack and attack-after-control but performs worse offensively when using the plastic ball than using the celluloid ball.(4)In the attack-after-service stage,Ma Long serves worse and has more placement change when using the plastic ball than using the celluloid ball.In the use of the third stroke technique,Ma Long's scoring rate and changes of forehand and sideways attack rises.In the use of first and third stroke tactical combination,Ma Long has less attack-after-service,more control-after-service and more defense-after-service when using the plastic ball than using the celluloid ball.(5)In the attack-after-reception stage,Ma Long uses more backhand twists at return of service and the scoring rate rises and he uses less forehand bottom line placement and more backhand bottom line placement when using the plastic ball than using the celluloid ball.In the use of the fourth stroke technique,Ma Long's usage and scoring rate of forehand attack rise but the usage and effect of backhand attack reduce and the change of bottom line placement is more often.In the second and fourth stroke tactical combination,Ma Long mainly uses attack-after-control regardless of plastic ball or celluloid ball.(6)In the stalemate stage,Ma Long has many offensive means and focuses on sideways attack at the fifth stroke and the effect of bottom line placement reduces when using the plastic ball than using the celluloid ball.The plastic ball has weakened Ma Long's stalemate ability to a certain extent.In the third and fifth stroke tactical combination,Ma Long has less continuous attack and more attack-after-control.
