A Research On The Project-oriented Mode Of The Youth Social Work

In recent years,social work develops rapidly in China as its types and fields are clearer and social work for youth is more professional.Grassroots youth organizations should pay more attention to how to meet the demands of youth and what to do to innovate services for youth.As a regional grassroots youth organization,The Community Youth Club of B city plays an active role in serving community youths and leading youths to construct society by a variety of recreational activities.As the way of operating social work for youths in project-oriented mode prevails,previous Youth Club can't meet the needs of youths.In addition,the imperfections of Community Youth Club exposed gradually and the relationship among municipal government committee,community neighborhood committee and firm is complicated,which results in that the mode is inconsistent with the goal of Community Youth Club.The project-oriented mode is the key to the problem,and it can make the service of Youth Club more professional and efficient,and it can enhance its autonomy and flexibility.In this paper,the qualitative research method is used to explore the relationship between the management system of youth social work organization and its related parties,aiming at studying how H Community Youth Club operates the project-oriented mode.Some conclusions are got after the interviews of workers in Community Youth Club and analysis of how projects operate.In the process of operating the project-oriented mode,H Community Youth Club becomes more efficient and more professional,comes up with key goals for projects,manages in an easier way and clarifies the service group.However,there are also some disadvantages.Meanwhile,this paper gives suggestions on the basis of the project-oriented mode in social work.Community Youth Club's trail to operate the project-oriented mode shows both its advantages and disadvantages,which is a brave exploration.Efforts are needed to further improve the operating way.The study indicates that operating social work in the project-oriented mode in Community Youth Club is a long-term and systematic work,which is of great significance to make social work professional and construct a harmonious society.
