A Research On Environmental Ethics Education In University

At present,environmental problems are getting worse,especially the practical problems of more and more wide coverage formed by the haze spread are enough to explain that the accelerated deterioration of environment has seriously affected social production and human life.The increasingly severe environmental crisis has made people realize that: the deteriorating environmental problems can’t be solved simply by relying on environmental technology,but not by the unilateral efforts of the government,but by the urgent need for universal participation in environmental governance.But the premise is to mobilize the whole society,to let all people form a new environmental values and environmental moral quality.To establish this new proposition of environmental philosophy and ethics in the entire society,we need to expand environmental enlightenment.Thus,to expand environmental ethics education in the university becoming necessary and urgent.This article starts from the serious problem what the environment is facing in contemporary China,and we have made a concrete analysis of the impact of present environmental deterioration trend and environmental crisis on national health and social development.It is pointed out that resolving the environmental crisis not only needs the renewal and progress of the governance means,more needs the full play of the educational function,constructing the four in one environmental education platform of "family,school,community and society",to carry out the environmental education to enlighten all people to actively participate in the line of environmental protection.Among them,the university as a cradle of social elite,to carry out environmental ethics education is particularly urgent.To carry out the education in the university,there are two basic objectives: First,let the university become a solid barrier of "care environment";the second is to cultivate college students as the social elite of environmental care.In order to better achieve this dual goal,the university environmental ethics education on the one hand should follow the principle of mutual living between "people,society and environment","sustainable survival development" and "the use of thick and simple life";On the other hand,should rationally use the approach of interdisciplinary integration,theory guide practice and "caring environment starts from me".During the concrete implementation,we must first set up the basic course of environmental ethics,so that can let students learn through this course,both systematically build environmental knowledge and get the training of environmental ability,making them as the elite of environmental governance and environmental management in the future of society.Then,we should expand the horizon,channel and path of environmental ethics education in universities,and combine the university environmental ethics education with other methods to make up for the deficiency of environmental ethics curriculum through professional course infiltration and volunteer activities.
