Research On The Principles And Guiding Strategies Of Drama Education Activities In Taiwanese Kindergarten

Most countires have paied closer attention to the valuable of drama education.Since in the 1960 s,drama education has gradually improved in Taiwan.In the academic of year of 2001,the curriculum of area of the Arts was included into the Grade 1-9 Curriculum.It was the first time that drama was officially contained in the education system in the Taiwan.In 2013,the Ministry of Education enacted new curriculum guideline which introduced aims of drama education,and this has reflected the importance of dram education in the field of preschool education.In this research,observation,interviews as well as journals collection are main methodologies,and the researcher observed three Taiwanese kindergarten teachers and a Professor in a normal university to design drama education activities in a state kindergarten,in order to explore the principles and strategies of drama education activities in Taiwan.The structure of this research is as follows:The Part One is introduction,including backgrounds,aims,methodologies and the literature view.The Part Two is the principles of drama education activities in Taiwanese kindergartens.This is basic on the Taiwanese kindergarten teachers' teaching conceptions,and then researcher found that kindergarten teachers in Taiwan respect children statures,insist teacher-children interaction as well as The Part Three is the strategies of drama education activities in the Taiwanese kindergarten,and these strategies are about designing of aims,choicing activities' themes,designing activities' contexts,organising drama education activities and assess drama education activities.The Part Four is the drawbacks of kindergartens' drama education activities and its future developing trends in Taiwan,and hopefully,this research may provide guidance for kindergarten teachers in China.
