With the continuous development of social work,the objects of social work experiences changes,from the initial who faced difficult and problem gradually to people in need and normal people,the aims changes from the rescue,solution to development,which all reflects the trend of the process social work of specialization.Social work for school-age children reflects this point,currently,the social work for school-age children in Jinan city community has begun to take shape.The author studies the social work of school-aged children in urban communities with their own professional practice,hoping to provide reference opinions for the social work for school-age children in urban communities.Through the internship of W community M project,by directly contacting with the clients and the subsystems of the clients,including social workers,parents,interns and community workers,the author found that there are some difficulties in the actual service development process.For example,the difficulty of digging out the service object and the difficulty in evaluating the service object due to the particularity of the service object itself;the contradiction between supply and demand between the service project and the service subject;the demand of object cannot continue.Social workers have a large workload and lack of staff,lack of effective supervision and training,and brain drain.Internships lack of experience and ability,improper role changes and handling of their own emotions,restrictions on supervision and internships affect the quality of service.In addition,parents,schools,institutions,communities provided limited resources and help.Through in-depth interviews with social workers and related personnel,we will have a good understanding of the development process of the project from development to the end,understanding the needs of clients and the working conditions of social workers.The author continues to carry out professional reflections while providing services,putting forward two major corresponding countermeasures from social workers and the resources that social workers can mobilize:On the one hand,social workers should give full consideration to the particularity of school-aged children;change the way and work methods appropriately and enhance their ability to service;strengthen the management of interns to become their own Assistant;in addition,in the daily work try to mobilize the community,schools,parents and other resources.On the other hand,universities,institutions,social workers associations,government should do necessary changes to promote the development of professional services.
