The Practice Research Of The College Physics Experiment Course

College physics laboratory course is a compulsory course for students major in Science and Engineering,which aimed at cultivating students' experimental ability and scientific literacy.The evaluation of academic outcome is mainly depending on the final experiment examination;it means the final is significantly important and requires the most attention.In the thesis,the current situation of the college experiment examination is analyzed through the researches on relevant documents;and then the practical study for the final experiment examination is carried out refer to the theory of educational measurement and evaluation.The chapter 3 and 4 of this thesis describe the main process of the practical research,which statistically analyze every exam result;those examinations are creatively designed that including both operating examination and written examination.The main conclusions are drawn,from project analysis,quality evaluation and the specific conditions of examinations,as follows:(1)It is feasible to combine the operating examination and written examination to assess students' experimental ability,which could more synthetically test the experiments abilities of students.(2)The restrictive essay question is more appropriate.In these two types of examinations,there were analytical reasoning,design problems and short-answer questions.(3)When we designing the operating examination,it must allow the students to use the experimental method acquired from this course to solve some entirely new problems.The dimensions of this type of examination are mainly composed of four aspects:experiment principles&method,data measurements&analysis,error analysis and data application.(4)The written examination is use to evaluate the abilities of understanding and analysis of experiment principle.The analyzing and designing problems are suggested to be set in this part.
