Folk religion is not just an ideology,but also an important constituent part of the cultural system of the community which it belongs to.In the process of historical inheritance,folk religion usually functions as a carrier of moral principles and value pursuit of the nation or community.Folk religion and rites constitute the basic features of regional or national culture,and it is also the symbolic manifestation of social formation.By the overall study and elaboration of folk religion,we can better understand human beings' thoughts,cognition,fantasies,sustenance,and the religious behaviors accompanying these aspects.Therefore,human beings' beliefs and rites are important topics for anthropology study.In the research,Hanwula Gacha of Evenk Autonomous Banner,Hulun Buir,Inner Mongolia—a multi-ethnic animal husbandry community,is taken as the field survey spot.From the perspective of anthropology,theories and methods of relevant disciplines such as folklore and sociology are combined to study,under the situation of social and economic development and diversified religions,the manifestation patterns,features,and function of folk religion in the daily life of people living in a multi-ethnic populated animal husbandry community.In this paper,the general situation of Hanwula Gacha is firstly introduced from such aspects as its historical evolution,natural environment,residents,livelihood,and living styles.And then,the authorintroduces Oboo ritual,ancestor“Shewoke”,worship of totem“Garibule”,God of Mountains“Bainacha”,God of Husbandry“Jiyaqi”,and God of Fire,God of Trees,as well as heaven worship,which are the common sacrificial ceremonies of folk religion among the public.Thirdly,based on the contents of folk religion of Hanwula Gacha,the author analyzes features such as regionalism,utilitarianism,and randomness that present in the folk religion in Hanwula Gacha,roles of psychological adjustment,moral education,and ecological environment protection that folk religion plays in people's life.Hanwula Gacha is a multi-ethnic animal husbandry Gacha formed in the historical process,and local people share the same historical development process and living environment.In production and living,cultural elements of different ethnic groups influence and merge with each other,and therefore in terms of food,clothing housing,transportation and even folk religion,an animal husbandry community with integrated multi-ethnic religious cultures,which not only has distinct regional features but also is featured by the phenomenon that I am part of you and you are part of me.
