Urban Space Production And Criticism In The Vision Of Historical Materrialism

Time and space are two dimensions of human social development,and for some time the spatial dimension has been placed in the shadow of the time dimension.In the post-industrial era,the space(urban space)reflects the important role and status,and gradually become an indispensable part of the urbanization.The space not only participates in the process,but also a key element of capitalism development in the postmodern society.Driven by the capital strength,urban space is capitalized.Urban space capitalization meets the demand of urban residents,however,the capitalization of urban space causes also many social development problems.To make matters worse,urban problems gradually expand to the world under the background of globalization.This paper puts forward theoretical requirements for the criticism and reflection of the capitalization of urban space.Under this background,the research based on the historical materialism position,using the method of literature analysis and structural function analysis,elaborating the relevant theories of the urban space production from the viewpoint of material-historical social-cultural psychology triple dimensions of the space and production-life-ecological three forms of urban space,to explore the underlying logic of capital in the city space and a series of challenges of city space production which is dominated by the capital,to understand the spatial form of capital expansion logic and its essence with the aid of the method of dialectical materialism under the background of times and the value orientation of city space construction from the angle of space right.At the same time,it is hoped that the urban space is constructed reasonably in the process of economic and social development through the analysis of the urban space theory in China.Research rooted in historical materialism,to some extent,broaden the vision of Marxism research and expand the category and the field of Marxism research.Furthermore,exploring the value orientation and realization path of urban space in capital logic,could provide positive enlightenment for the solving of urban problems and space development in China.The innovation points reflected in the perspectives of research and the research content.Research perspectives focus on longitudinal triple dimension and horizontal three forms of the urban space,which is the basis of the critique of the capitalization of urban space,then this paper discusses the value orientation of the space construction and analyses the development enlightenment of urban space about our country around the perspective.Research content based on the basic stand,viewpoint and method of Marxism,combing the development train of thought of the research on the basis of the relevant expositions about space problem of Marxist classical writers and new Marxist analysis of the urban space,and on the basis of concept of the social development of our country,clearing the logical development process of urban space production,urban space capitalization and criticism,and spatial justice,and finally,this paper puts the foothold of research on the construction of our country's urban space.To sum up,the urban space production and criticism under the vision of historical materialism,based on the Marxism basic standpoint viewpoint and method,undertook to the objective phenomenon of urban space development,turned in the node of critique of the capitalization,located in the reality of the urban spatial development enlightenment.
