Research On Changes And Influences Of Interpersonal Communication In Network City

With technology of the network media,the network society has created a brand-new model and the scene of interpersonal communication and interaction,has also integrated the various social relations through the combination of the real space and the virtual network space,and infiltrating into people's life including family,schools,work places,consume places,public participation,leisure and entertainment,which is not only the place of social communication,but also an important place for creating relationships.Because of the intense urbanization,modernization and networking in the city,the way of communication between people has been changing,the relationship between people and the identity of people have been reconstructing.And meanwhile,the effect of the change will expand with the development of network society.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the shaping and mechanism of the interpersonal communication in the network society,to analyze the influence of the change to the individuals and the city,and to find out the strategies of the development of network media and interpersonal communication,which contributing to building a harmony city.Based on the existing theories and research,it is found that the communication media symbolization,the communication way ritualization,the self-presentation,the relationship capitalization,the group-environed relations and the individual consciousness homogeneity are the network interpersonal communication patterns.Then it analyzes the reconstruction of interpersonal communication by network media form the aspects of space-time situation and relationship context.The network medium merges the virtual space into the real space,the private space into the public space and as a result the personal node is flowing in the global network,also reorganizes the space and time conception of the real society.Combined with participatory observation and in-depth interviews,it is found that the online media has a great impact on the interpersonal communication patterns in the family,education,work,consumption,public participation and leisure situations.According to the changes of interpersonal communication patterns,the author summarizes the negative effects of the new interpersonal communication patterns in the network society:the individual becomes "living for himself' and becomes more narcissistic;the individual gradually lacks group identity and self-identity,giving rise to the emergence of a crisis of identity;lack of value system makes interpersonal trust difficult to establish,while the individual feel meaninglessness of life;interest-based groups and the emergence of alliance of the upper class exacerbate social stratification.Therefore,the development of the city needs to pay attention to the emotional needs of urban integration,the development of the media organizations need to insist on the standard of interpersonal humanism,the individuals need to improve their own literacy of using network media,then we could develop good relationships with others and contribute harmony society.
