The Application Research On The Spiritual Care Of The Lost-one-only Aged Under The Mediating Model

Since the's,the family planning has been implemented in our country,to derease the population,that has played a positive role.But the policy increases the risk of those one-child families's life.The number of elderly parents who have losed there only child isincreasing day by day.The research shows that losing their only child causes many problems to the lost-the-only aged.including the both physical and mental issues,such as social,economic,heath care,pension,and so on.Compared with the hardships in the physical,the spiritual issues of the lost-the-only aged are becoming more and more boviouse and serious.Some scholars only study on the social issues of the lost-the-only aged.There is very few spiritual care for lost-the-only aged in social work field.So that it should be cause great concern of the whole society.The research under social work provides the spiritual care for lost-the-only aged with group work agencies.Student takes advantage of the apportunity of interning R agencies to join the opertation of the projects,so as to learn the situation of spiritual care of lost-the-only aged by the way of interviews and investigations at their homes.The research indicates that spiritual care of lost-the-only aged has been found seriously wanting.Families,communities,society and the goverment did not provide them with enough spiritual care.The existence of all the problems related to several aspects,such as the disintegration of family,unique label in daily life,the sense of exclusion of them,the insufficient interaction between ommunities and them,and the government's inadequate spiritual care of them.Mediating model involved spiritual care of lost-the-only aged is a new attempt.There are six groups as object in the research.Through specific physical activities,the research arouses them desire to communicate with others,express their emotions fully rational,reposition life goals,take part in the social activities.Results of the assessment shows that the intervention has achieved good results.The mediating model intervents the services of spiritual care of lost-the-only aged,which can not quote the foregin models mechanically.Not only it's necessary to follow the guidance of the oretical knowledge,guide the group activites within the mediating model,but also according to the actual situation of them to adjust the specific content of group activities.Flexible working methods deponed on the circumstances.The lost-the-only aged is a relative vulnerable group,which need help and care of the whole society.First of all,the government should provide necessary reaources for that.Secondly,community need to build a supported atmosphere for them.Furthermore,that the social work agencies carry out the professional services should be supported,also that the social workers play an important role in it should be approved.Finally,their strengths should be play appropriately,in order to help others and self-sufficient.
