Since 1980s, the process of urbanization and aging in China has initiated a large scale social mobility. In the sixth census, about eighty-five percent migrant workers are from rural to urban, women account for forty-nine point eight percent of the total population. It shows the proportion of female population is rising year by year. In the 80s, male are in the majority of the floating population; in the 90s, male been out with spouse and have their own family. It evolved into the flow of couples and the child. Recently, the old also joined the group of floating to take care of the child in the city. As a social group, human development includes the development of women. However, gender differences and social behavior inhibits the development of women, making it become the marginalized groups, especially minority women. They are in poor condition but submerged. The population flow is not only from west to east, rural areas to cities, but also to minority and the old. However, little research has about it. The study about it may good to urbanization and the research of this group.This study used qualitative research methods. Upon a west poor village?a group of national minority people on the margins?a historic small town and in the outflow areas L village?inflow H areas, the author finally got thirty effective interviews?Thus, the special rural old women who are in the oppression of the age?gender urban-rural areas and ethnic boundary can tell out their life-course. The result shows with the change in their social role, women's family status has been improved as well. Subjectively, the women's living conditions have improved obviously; gender division of labor existed. Objectively, migration has helped women gain decision-making power over family affairs, but may worsen their share in the division of housework. Besides, the back-flow has a positive impact on the L village. Research found that when put age, region, gender and ethnic; the flow has a positive influence. However, with the development of the society, the appearance of modern development accompanied by eliminating the traditional special ethnic minority cultural, this will be follow-up study.
