With the rapid growth of the informational society and the constant innovations of the information spread way,great art gradually formed.The great art means that the contemporary art,with unprecedented richness and inclusive,prioritized new ideas,and with overwhelming attitude,go into our life.Arts education makes progress together with the development of art.Simple skills' training is not the purpose of art education.From the unique development law of body and mind on middle school student,the pioneer art forms of contemporary art are according with the youth's psychological characteristics that the youth love novel and modern things.That contemporary art reflects the various social problems exactly meet them to focus on the social life and human development.Therefore,it has high theoretical and practical significance to study the art teaching of the contemporary art under the new situation.This paper consists of five sections: The first section introduces the researching background and significant of this paper and presents the concept of the contemporary art.This section also presents the objective and researching methods of this paper.In the second section,from the social foundation and middle school students' individual characteristics and so on,the author analyzes the feasibility,necessity,and the value of the contemporary art in the arts teaching of middle school.In the third section,through the questionnaire investigation and interview investigation,the author obtains detailed information on the present situation about the using of the contemporary art in the arts teaching of two Yantai City's middle schools.Based on the above understanding,the author do an empirically analyses on introducing the contemporary art into the arts teaching of middle school.In the fourth section,from the perspective of curriculum resources,the author discusses the cognition acceptability,the common values and ability of the contemporary arts material.In the last section,the author discusses how to appreciate the contemporary art by applying “studying based on problem”and “constructivism theory” in arts teaching.Furthermore,the author designs two operation process,namely,“Appreciate,discuss,and perception” and “Description,analysis,explain,and value judgment”,for introducing the contemporary art into the middle school classes.
