Solid geometry textbooks are the main learning materials of high school students'.The different textbooks in various periods,which do not only reflect the construction situation of elementary and high school textbooks in China,but also embody the development level of mathematics education in China.In the process of development of solid geometry textbooks,they are conditioned by economy and politics.Although the construction of solid geometry textbooks has seen ups and downs,it has achieved rich consensus and fruitful results since the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949.Based on the development of solid geometry textbooks from early 1950 to 1950,this thesis aims at clarifying the history of solid geometry textbook,which can provide the reference for compiling solid geometry textbooks so that better textbooks will be published in the future.Mainly applying research literature method and taking comparative analysis and graphology method for complement,this thesis does researches on solid geometry textbooks,the syllabus and related review articles about textbooks in the journals from 1950 to 2000.In order to demonstrate the development process of solid geometry from 1950 to 2000,the thesis analyzes some typical textbooks of solid geometry in three chapters.Chapter one sorts out the solid geometry textbooks of different periods from 1950 to 2000,and carries out specific analysis on some solid geometry textbooks published by the People's Education Publishing House.Finding out the similarities and differences,this chapter expounds the influence of the social changes on the construction of textbook.Chapter two offers the researches on evolution of teaching contents about the introduction and definition of dihedral Angle,which shows the evolutional features of solid geometry from microcosmic and macroscopic aspects.Chapter three is the revelation and reference.The conclusion is that the solid geometry textbooks in china attach more importance to readability,and pay more attention to the development of students' minds.This chapter enumerates the advantages and disadvantages of the current solid geometry textbooks,and puts forward some suggestions.
