Since the 21 st Century,Chinese higher education has entered the popular stage.In 2014,Chinese higher education gross enrollment rate has 37.5%.With the rapid development of higher education,the quality of higher education has also received extensive attention from the educational community as well as the society,also produced many representative,forward-looking and feasible documents,but the newest hot spots of comparative documents on the quality of Chinese and foreign higher education are still blank.This paper chooses the core journals,master's thesis and important academic conferences on the research of “Chinese higher education quality” in the CNKI database since the 21 st century.At the same time,this paper chooses documents on the quality of foreign higher education form the Web Of Science database plat since the 21 st century.The research uses the large data analysis,the literature data information visualization map,and the quantitative,qualitative and so on to sort out the results of hot spots on the quality of higher education between China and foreign courtries,respectively to detect the content related the quality of higher education research between China and foreign countries.On the basis of this,this paper compares the similarities and differences between the quality of higher education between China and foreign countries as well as the reasons,and concludes the enlightenment to the quality of higher education in China.This paper uses literature bibliometrics visualization software named Cite Space to draw the document co-citation network map of the database from CNKI about the research on the quality of higher education in our country since the 21 st Century to explore the hot spots of higher education quality in China.Based on the above data,this paper uses Cite Space information visualization software to complete the following tasks through literature statistics,quantitative analysis,case study and so on.Firstly:the literatures are statisticed;secondly:the literatures are cited;thirdly:the key words are cited;Fourthly:high mutation keywords are cited.Through the above work,this paper detects the hot spots of quality of Chinese higher education research,and detects specific literature information according to the hot spots.Cite Space is used to analyze the database of Web Of Science about basic knowledge of the literature on the quality of foreign higher education since the 21 st century,and to generate hot spots about the quality of foreign higher education according to keywords clustering.This paper detects the hot spots of foreign higher education quality according to the existing foreign data.Based on the above mentioned Chinese and foreign hot spots,the author analyzes the similarities and differences between the two,analyzes the reasons and concludes the enlightenment tothe quality of higher education in China.Specifically speaking,this paper is divided into five parts,the first part contains the research background,research purpose and significance,research review,definition of related concepts,analysis of research ideas and methods.The second part is the study of the database,data sources,data processing and statistics,mainly from the data collected to the data integration process by Cite Space information visualization software.The third to the fifth part are the main contents of this paper which are based on the knowledge map of Cite Space.The third part is the hot spot of higher education quality research in China.It mainly uses the keywords analysis method to show the hot spots,and uses the method of secondary literature retrieval to show the content of the research.The fourth part is the hot spot of foreign higher education quality research,mainly based on keywords clustering and co-citation literature analysis,combined with the cited literature to explore the theme of hot spots.The fifth part is the comparison of the hot spots of the quality of Chinese and foreign higher education research as well as the conclusion,among which the hot spots are divided into four parts:comparison of the research objects,comparison of the research contents,comparison of the evaluation system,comparison of the safeguard supervision system.
