Design And Implementation Of Network Training Platform For Teachers In Neijiang Normal University

In recent years,with the rapid development of computer and its related technology,more and more application software has been developed and applied in various fields such as politics,economy,culture,military affairs,education,health and so on.Thanks to these applications,the quality of people’s life and work efficiency has been greatly improved.At the same time,government agencies,enterprises and institutions have begun to use information technology and carried out informationization construction for their own needs.Thus,all kinds of portals,business platforms,management system emerge as the times require.As the “Teachers’ Continuing Education Training Center of Sichuan Province” and the “Professionals’ Continuing Education Base of Sichuan Province”,Neijiang Normal University needs to undertake a lot of training tasks every year.At present,the university relies only on traditional means of continuing education and thus faces huge pressure.At the same time,there are a lot of data about courses,students and their performance,which need to be counted,analyzed and stored.However,the current date management is restricted in manual operation and leads to low efficiency.Aiming at changing the current situation,this paper proposed to realize the teachers’ online training platform of Neijiang Normal University by using the existing computer –related technology.The platform,divided into Foreground and background function modules,mainly includes user management,news bulletin management,curriculum management,learning management,user login,online testing and training community,etc.And it can not only realize the function of user login,course selection,online learning,online testing and community interaction,but also provide the function of adding user information,publishing news bulletins,maintaining course information,managing and analyzing academic performance,etc.for administrators.The main content of this paper is as follows:(1)Starting from the development and research status of the domestic and foreign teachers’ online training platform,this paper investigate the needs of administrative departments and teachers both in and outside the university.(2)Using the UML modeling,this paper tries to draw the system use case diagram and activity diagram,and summarize the functional modules of the system.(3)Analyzing the operation process,framing the system and designing the system function and database.(4)Implementing the platform and testing the system by using simulation cases.In this paper,we adopt B/S and ASP.NET web development technology to implement the platform and choose SQL Server 2008 to establish the database of the platform,using Visual Studio 2008 as the development tool and C# as the development language.The platform,after being successfully constructed,can better meet the needs of teacher training,promote the management mode of administrative departments,and improve the level of management.
