PCK(Pedagogical content knowledge)is the core knowledge of teachers' professional development,is the teachers' unique knowledge in classroom instruction activity.The theoretical frame of this research is the PCK—“six ingredient theory” that advanced by Grossman including knowledge of course content,knowledge of teaching objectives,knowledge of students,knowledge of content organization,knowledge of teaching strategy,and knowledge of Effect feedback.Ordering to the grade one high school mathematics teacher's PCK,according to Grossman,the research investigate two novice teachers and two experienced teachers from a high school of Fengcheng City in Jiangxi province and then compare their differences in PCK.This research uses the methodologies of questionnaire investigation,classroom observations and analysis of the cases.The research shows that the mathematics of the novice teachers is not comprehensive and the teaching is rigid.Some theorems and formulas only emphasize the memory,lack the spirit of exploration,do not pay attention to the acquisition of knowledge and ability.The experience of teachers based on their years of teaching experience,combined with the understanding of students,to seize the focus of teaching to guide students to explore their own knowledge.Novice teachers do not understand the difficulties of students to learn,the main content as difficult,and the experience of teachers to adjust the teaching content,the students difficult to understand the knowledge as difficult,and focus on difficult to explain.In the example of the set,the experience of teachers from the many examples of years of experience accumulated,the students are easy to understand,difficult to understand the problem,and examples of gradient,there is depth.The example of the novice teacher is basically selected from the teaching material.New teacher teaching less transition,teaching language jerky,before and after contact and other subjects less contact,experienced teachers often design teaching according to specific circumstances,and will contact the knowledge has been learned to other disciplines to expand.According to the investigation and research,put forward to the new teachers to enhance their own PCK recommendations:(1)to grasp the new curriculum standards;(2)carefully study materials;(3)more lectures,more assessment,more exchanges,more reflection;(4)read more books on pedagogy and psychology;(5)to participate in teacher skills training.Advices on teacher training:(1)the development of teachers PCK should be based on the classroom;(2)to enhance the teaching level of teachers from the subject content of knowledge to proceed.
