Research On Image Of Migrant Workers In Social Change

In the traditional society to modern social transformation, rural labor force to cities influx, formed a special group of migrant workers, and became an important part of the working class in China, promoted the development of society and economy, is the backbone of the urbanization. Migrant workers is our country social change process of the micro representation, concentrated the ever-changing society since the reform and opening up. Therefore, it has important practical significance to study the change of the image of migrant workers under the social changes.This article adopts the method of content analysis, by watching from 1983 to 2015 CCTV Spring Festival gala, which involved by the migrant workers 35 sketch show and 58 role of migrant workers as the research sample. Analysis of program information from four parts of program year, program period, program theme and program selected topic, quantitative description and analysis of the physiological role of the image, professional image, the image of the deeds and character image four aspects, and through the interaction with the year analysis outlines the characteristics and changes of different historical periods in our country the image of migrant workers. The image of migrant workers since 1983, has experienced from the "vagrant" image, is mocked "marginal man" image, rational under the present "vulnerable groups" image, "workers" and "quasi-citizen" image, and gradually developed to today’s "integration" changes in the image.On this basis, the analysis of migrant workers between image and government policy, mass media, as well as the contact between the workers themselves, on the change of the image of migrant workers social change by thinking.
