Study On The Thought Of National Identity Of The CCP(1921-1945)

For the past few years,national identity is becoming more and more appealing to domestic and overseas scholars under the background of globalization.This is not just a rational reflection on globalization,but an acknowledgment on value of identity,as a kind of soft power for the development of national state.The reason for focusing on the thought of national identity of the CCP is to summarize and reflect the history,and then to solve the problems confronted by the CCP nowadays,which are accruing in the fields the mainstream ideology identity and construction of national state.With the method of linking theories with practice and literature research method,the paper summarizes and analyzes the development of national identity ideology of the CCP from 1921 to 1945.The paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the study background,significance,research methods and the main points;The second chapter introduces the main sources of the thought of national identity of the CCP,mainly about Marxist classical writers’ ethnic theories,including ethnic theories of Marx and Engels,Lenin and Stalin.This chapter reveals the thought of national identity hiding in the Marxist classical writers’ ethnic theories;In the third chapter,the development of national character of the CCP is the main thread,which turned from implicit to explicit.This chapter is divided into three sections,including the early days of the CCP and the Great Revolution period,the Land Revolution period,the Anti-Japanese War period;Chapter four is mainly about the experiences and inspiration of the development of national identity ideology of the CCP,which includes linking theory with practice,scientifically dealing with the relationship between nationalism and internationalism,independently dealing with the national affairs.And then,the author analyzes the internal logic of the development of the thought of national identity of the CCP.In theory,it reveals the way in which localization of Marxist in China and the development of the thought of national identity of the CCP interacted with each other;The epilogue is about the significance of the study on the national identity ideology,the author deems the Chinese Dream as the new form and content of national identity ideology of the CCP for new times.The CCP is established in the guidance of Marxism and Leninism.Internationalism,which is based on class identity,is its ultimate ideal.Nevertheless,the attitude of the CCP to nationalism and national identity is changing with the development of the national revolution in China.They,the communists,do not exclude the nationalism all the time.Early Chinese Marxists chose Marxism and socialism to save Chinese nation.It is no doubt that,patriotism and nationalism sparkling in their mind influenced the revolution theory and revolution practice in China.From rejection to absorption,the CCP accepted nationalism as one important ideology which can be merged with internationalism.From being passively Led by the Comintern to positively exploring the revolution theory in the practice,the CCP accomplished the localization of Marxism in China.In theory,the study on the thought of national identity of the CCP will benefit the study on the process of localization of Marxism in China,and enrich the Marxism national theory.In practice,the study will contribute to China dealing with international affairs,and facilitate the development of socialism with characteristics of China to be in a healthy and ordered way.
