The Ancient Prose Travel Landscape And Lao Zhuang In Chinese Textbooks Of Middle Schools Thought

As "Ordinary high school language curriculum standard (Experiment)" has proposed: "In reading and appreciating activities, the spiritual life will be constantly enriched; self personality will be improved; realm of life will be promoted; the thought and the cognition of the relationships between individuals and countries, individuals and societies, individuals and natures will be gradually deepened. In general, the authors will applies themselves to landscape travel notes with thoughts and interests instead of the objective description of the natural scenery. The thoughts of Laozi and Zhuangzi have profound and lasting influences on Chinese ancient landscape travel notes. Laozi and Zhuangzi are keen advocates of the nature. They have utilitarian views of the nature so that they advocate the closeness to nature. Ancient writers and celebrities, who often displayed the external beauty of the landscape and expressed their feelings through the landscape travel notes, wandered in the landscape and were enlightened by it. They felt the depth of the universe through traveling the landscape, which had affected the shaping of their personality, like being indifferent to fame, wealth and power, discarding all desires and worries from their minds and advocating the inner peace. On the basis of previous researches, through analyzing six ancient landscape travel-notes texts in middle school Chinese textbooks published by PEP, the author systematically observes the thoughts of Laozi and Zhuangzi and ancient landscape essays. The time span of the analysis, not only limits to Wei and Jin Dynasties, but also includes Song, Ming and Qing Dynasties, so that the author’creation and the research of the development of the thought will be more specific.Laozi and Zhuangzi, born in the hard times, were keen to the pursuit of the freedom and going beyond the secular. On the basis of the deep insight, they thought and criticized the society and the life. Thinking far beyond the mundaneness, they looked for the ideal home for human beings---nature. Chinese ancient landscape travel notes, not only trail authors’ lives, but also witness that they love nature and they blend into nature. Essentially, notes are thoughts to meanings and end-results of the existence of lives.Combined the rich experience, landscape travel essays will be analyzed systematically. On the basis of the thoughts of Laozi and Zhuangzi, their thoughts in different texts will be analyzed and interpreted in multiple perspectives. Moreover, their thoughts help people read ancient landscape travel works more carefully, hoping that the study and interpretation of famous travelogue works can be helpful to the development of humanities in Chinese teaching.
