| With the development of the Internet technology,microblog,as one of the typical applications of Web2.0,has developed so fast that it has a lot of loyal users.Microblog has been attracting more and more educators and researchers for its miniaturization,convenience and interaction since its appearance in China seven years ago.There are already some fruitful research and achievements about combining microblog with subject or discipline such as Politics,yet how to apply microblog in assisting English teaching is to be explored further,especially in secondary vocational English teaching.Therefore,the author tries to use microblog in secondary vocational for teaching English as an aid.The main purpose of this research is to find out whether it can improve students’ interest and change their attitude by using the microblog as an assistant platform,and to find out how this teaching method can promote communication between teachers and students.Based on Web 3.0,the thesis focuses on the potentiality of using microblog in secondary vocational for teaching English as an aid.Guided by the theoretical and practical significance,we may find out a new teaching model.The thesis introduces the concept and characteristic of the microblog and interactive teaching in detail.Based on Constructivist Theory,Meaningful Learning Theory and Humanistic Emotion Theory,the research carries out practical applications in subject teaching such as self communication,preparation before class,review after class,reflections about teaching and so on.We can come to a conclusion by data statistics,pre-test,post-test and two questionnaires.The pro-test and post-test conducted in the experimental class are two final term papers from 2015 to 2016.In addition,the former questionnaire mainly collects students’ information about familiarity,use frequency,attitude about using the microblog in English learning and so on.The latter questionnaire mainly gives evaluation about study results and interactive situation.The research results showed that students’ interest has been obviously improved by using microblog as an assistant platform.Not only good results in English learning are revealed,but the interactive frequency and relationship between teachers and students are greatly promoted as well.It is known that microblog has great educational potentialities.Making full use of microblog platform is helpful to develop new model in secondary vocational English teaching.Meanwhile,some negative factors should not be neglected. |
