Ordinary University Student Sports Disadvantaged Social Support Research

In recent years, with the open student enrollment policy and the increasing awareness of humanness and social assistance to the disabled, more and more students who have attacks of illness or who do not fit to take part in strenuous sports have won the opportunities to enter colleges and universities to enjoy their rights of receiving higher education and the figure is increasing year by year. This has brought certain difficulties to the physical education and the social support study. General university student physical vulnerable groups are the exceptions among the university students of our country. The study to the general university student physical vulnerable groups is not only an important way to achieve the university educational justice but also a fatal demand to accomplish the core value of socialism. Therefore, concerning about the demand of the general university physical vulnerable groups is not only an academic education problem, but also a problem to the development of the society.Taken the perspectives of sociology, sports science, psychology and adapted the ways of documentation method, questionnaires method, on-the-spot investigation method, expert interviews method, mathematical statistics method and logical analysis method, we have selected the physical vulnerable groups from 7 universities such as Hunan University, Central South University of Forestry and Technology, Hunan University of Chinese Medicine, Changsha University, Hunan International Economics University,Hunan Industry Polytechnic, Hunan Vocational College of Commerce as the study targets. We attempted to deeply analyze the present survival status of the study targets, to further analyze the reason of their lack of social support and to provide strategies in order to enrich and complete the physical vulnerable groups theoretical system, to expand the width and depth of the study of the physical vulnerable groups, to draw attention and concern from all walks of life to investigate this topic together and to provide data support and proof references for the government to set up the physical vulnerable groups social support system..The study shows that it is caused by the following factors: the lack of benefit from the government and social services, the lack of benefit from campus, the lack of self-benefit expression and the lack of unofficial social support. Accordingly, we provide the following proposals: to reinforce the support from the government and social services, to formulate suitable PE courses in accordance with the the student physical vulnerable groups in the university campus, to make more research on the education for the student physical vulnerable groups, to enhance the after-class exercise of the student physical vulnerable groups, to build related examining and interventionary principles, to improve the sites and facilities, to improve the self-quality and the self-conscience and to enlarge the support from the unofficial society to the campus student physical vulnerable groups.
