| People start to pay close attention to film resources as an important curriculum resources with therapid development of information technology. Itis recommendedtoexploit new course resources during thecurriculum reform at thebeginning of this century. The film resourcesshould be employed in modern teaching especially in history class in senior middle school. At the same time, it is convenient to get access to film resources with the development in film and television technology.In fact, employing film resources in history class has a dramatic influence in curriculum reform on this occasion.According to the research about practical use of film resources in history class, the application of film resources in teaching is not only compliance with course reform, but also a new trial in history teaching. On one hand, it could enrich teaching methods in history class and help to improve the traditional teaching methods, on the other hand, it is an opportunity for students to develop new interest in history study and achieve the target in curriculum reform.There are four sections in this whole article.In the first section, define the concept and classification of film resources teaching through the literature review research.In the second section, a discussion will be required in efficiency of teaching consider with application of film resources. According to different methods which include questionnairesand interviews in investigation about film resources application in teaching, conclude the result and analyzeit. In the third part, the paper will focus on selecting of film resources and discusses the principles of this method. The last part is a detailed discussion about the use of film resources in teaching.
