With the progress of the times and the development of society, all kinds of industries have the penetration of geography. Some industries, such as land planning, urban planning tourism planning, are based on geography. The new 3S system provides more technical support for the development of geography, so that the geography has entered the era of information technology. However, such a huge achievement needs a solid foundation of discipline construction. In terms of the geography, The natural geography is undoubtedly its cornerstone. Therefore, it is very important for the development of geography.Throughout the development of geography education, the natural geography was firstly recognized. According to the education stage, the natural geography firstly appeared in the science curriculum of the primary school, people began to learn the geography course in junior high school, and the natural geography reached its peak in senior high school. Because the natural geography course of the senior high school is involved between Liberal arts and science, the students need a keener thinking ability, they easily form many thinking obstacles, led to a decline in academic performance, and loss the interest in learning of geography. Under such background, this article emphatically carries on the investigation to the high school natural geography study thought barrier, analyzes its formation reason, and proposes the corresponding solution measures.Through on-the-spot investigation and analysis, from the course content, the students are learning in the process of natural geographical thinking obstacles mainly include: to build a relationship of barriers, obstacles to bearing, image thinking disorder, memory disorders, logical reasoning and language barriers. In terms of thinking science students in learning in the process of natural geographical thinking obstacles are: learning motivation obstacles obstacles, image thinking and logical thinking.This paper analyzes the reason of the formation of thought disorder, learning motivation obstacles is more intellectual factors, main show is interest is not high, emotional instability, not determined, etc; There are two main reason for the formation of image thinking obstacles it is difficult to read, it is difficult to form a mental map; The cause of logical thinking obstacles are difficult questions, first impressions are most lasting, thinking pattern, thinking migration, logic confusion, thinking is difficult to extend, etc.To cross these thought disorder requires the joint efforts of students, teachers, schools and families, and the specific practices are: students should have self-control, teacher's teaching mode to give priority to with experience type teaching mode, teaching material compilation must conform to the requirements of the modern education, schools and families should establish contact provide students with good learning and living environment.
