Positive psychological quality as one of the three pillars of positive psychology, many psychologists on the research is in full swing. At the same time, the mental health problem has increasingly become the focus of a topic, especially about the situation of student's mental health. This study is about family environment, high school student's mental health and positive psychological quality as the research subject, the purpose is to explore the relations among them. Trying to understand the mental health level of the high school students and its influencing factors.This study uses "family environment scale(FES- CV)", "middle school student mental health scale(MSSMHS)" and "positive mental quality scale". Based on the principle of the random sampling, we choose 1275 students from changsha foreign language school and sixth middle school two schools from grade one to grade three. Investigate their family environment, the psychological health level and quality of positive psychology. Research using SPSS19.0 statistical software for data analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis, statistical methods to investigate family environment, the relationship between mental health and positive psychological quality.This study has following conclusions:(1) High school students mental health level is low, at moderate level, their psychological symptoms are mainly concentrated in learning stress, anxiety, unbalance, sensitive interpersonal tension and the several factors.(2) High school students mental health does not exist significant differences in gender, grade, family location and whether there were significant difference on the one-child.(3) Positive psychological quality were significant different in the location of the gender, grade, and family and the one-child.(4) Family environment and any dimensions has no significant difference in gender.(5) Family environment, positive psychological quality and mental health, there are different levels of significant correlation between two.(6) Family environment intimacy, entertaining and organized with good negative prediction function on the mental health, contradiction and controlling of mental health have a very good forward prediction effect.(7) Competence, character, self-confidence and self-discipline of mental health has a very good negative prediction function.(8) Competence, self-confidence and self-discipline are partial intermediary between the family environment and mental health.
