Research On Informal Stratification Of Students In The Class Society

The class is a basic unit of school organization,which is the student growth and development of basic environment.The education and teaching activities in the school are taken the class as a general basic unit to implement.From the perspective of the sociology of education,class is a microcosm of society and a miniature of the social system.In class society,as its basic,the students exists objectively status stratification,which can be divided into formal and informal stratification.The former refers to the class because of institutionalized management system and form status differences between students,such as "class cadres" and "the class of the students" status differences.The latter refers to the organization for formal role playing outside of the other factors,such as the student's academic achievement,the condition of students' interpersonal relationship status differences between students of different forming.This study mainly discusses informal determination problem for students in the social class of middle school.In this study,the methods of literature research and empirical research are used on the basis of reference to predecessors' achievements of both,designed the questionnaire and interview outline,chosen 350 students and two teachers in the 4 primary schools,to answer questionnaires and interviews.At the same time,the SPSS21.0 statistical software is used to analyze statistical analysis of survey data.The research results show that the students' academic achievement and interpersonal relationships in the class situation determines the recognized inside the class,students' popularity to a great extent,which further determines the informal position for these students in the class.That is to say,academic achievement and interpersonal situation are two important dimensions for informal hierarchy.Based on the condition of the hierarchical dimension informal hierarchical situation of students,the students in the class could be divided into core layer(very popular with the recognition and students),middle(the recognition and welcome students,uncertain)and edge layer(out from the recognition and welcome students).This study also uses Spearman software to analyze correlation of the class students informal layered with students' adaptability to the class,subjective well-being and self expectation level,personality development and so on.The result shows: the informal hierarchical class students have moderate correlation with the students' adaptability to the class,subjective well-being and self expectation levels;and has a low correlation with he students' personality development.This study also uses independent samples Kruskal Wallis test to analyze the difference between informal stratification of class students and students of the family class background,personality psychology,the individual students and teachers,the results showed that mother professional type,household income,different students,informal status differences in the class;relationship with teachers of different students in the class of informal status differences.The informal position of students in the class stratification is the result of many factors mutual influence and role.In addition,this research also has the principal negative effect for the informal layered class student are discussed.The negative effect mainly includes: decreasing the part of students' learning enthusiasm and initiative and limiting and narrowing the interaction of the students.Some students are "double marginalization" and so on.Finally,this study aimed at class students informal stratification may cause these negative effects,and suggest some relevant countermeasures and suggestions.The core layer,middle layer and layer edge students need to carry on the reasonable classification guide and need to strive to create equality,tolerance,harmony,harmonious class atmosphere,and to promote all the formation of students' positive emotion and attitude.Students are encouraged to help each other and to improve together.
