However, because of many reasons including the shortage of teaching material and quantified teachers, basic knowledge of English other than professional English are more emphasized in the class of preschool professional English, lots of preschool bilingual teachers trained by vocational colleges can’t meet professional requirements nowadays.Under the background of vocational English Reformation, this thesis focus on the instructional design in preschool English teaching, by using methods of literature investigation, comparative analysis, questionnaire survey and experiment, and considering English for specific purpose(ESP) and the learning theory of constructivism as the basis, anchored instruction has been applied for the preschool English class and a remarkable improvement has been demonstrated. First of all, characters of preschool English have been analyzed based on the theory of ESP, meanwhile, general English and ESP have been reasonably differentiated and theoretical connotations of preschool English have been identified, and anchored instruction and its feasibility in preschool professional English teaching have been sketched. Then, instructional design, specifically, anchored instruction design, was used as a method in the teaching of preschool English teaching based on the needs analysis and the learning theory of constructivism. Finally, by taking Y vocational college as an example, anchored instruction process has been demonstrated through one typical paper in the class of preschool comprehensive English, and the comparative teaching experiment for one semester has been performed, these experimental results have been used to prove the effectiveness of this method.
