In today’s world,international competition,which involves economic,political,military,culture,education,etcis becoming increasingly fierce.Among them,talent is the most valuable and most important strategic resource,and talent competition has become the core and the key part of all the competing factors.The level of quality of higher education is closely linked with international competitiveness,so it is the requirement of the times to improve postgraduate quality education.Countries around the world vary education strategies,to different degree,in order to further increase the emphasis on postgraduate quality education and reshape the objectives and structure of higher education.The quality of postgraduate education becomes an eternal topic.The current trend is that the society requires talents who bear high-quality and integrated skills.This thesis expounds the theoretical issues related to postgraduate quality education like connotation of quality education,discusses the significance of improving postgraduate quality education and new situation and requirements it faces.To better understand the current situation,a questionnaire survey which takes postgraduates in North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power as research object is conducted with an aim to improve postgraduates quality education.This thesis processes the data obtained from questionnaires by using SPSS 17.0 statistical software,then analyzes them through some statistical methods such as factor analysis and meta-regression analysis.Finally,this thesis explores the causes that lead to the problems of postgraduate quality education from ideological and political education,ability cultivation,personality development,physical constitution and psychological health,and provides corresponding improvement countermeasures from these five aspects. |
