| Globalization era has put forward new challenges for every nation’s education reform and personnel training, thus global education which focuses on training students’ global consciousness and international capabilities gradually enter into the mainstream of education in most countries. Australia is one of the earlier countries that study and implement global education, global education in its primary and secondary schools is complete and advanced, whether the content and the goals of curriculum, or teaching implementation, are all unique in the world. This paper aims to conduct a more comprehensive analysis of its theory and practice, then put forward inspiration and reference for our education based on summary and evaluation, combining the situation of our primary and secondary global education.This study mainly applied three research approaches including literature research, comparative analysis and case study. Full text is divided into six parts. Introduction set clarified the reason and significance about the selection of the essay’s theme——Global Education in primary and secondary schools in Australian. After carding domestic and foreign research which is related, writer introduced the research ideas and research methods, and defined the core concepts and discrimination. The first chapter has analyzed the specific international and domestic context about the emergence and development of Global Education in Australian. Chapter two has combed theoretical system of Australian’s global education, analyzed its educational philosophy, described its educational content, and summarized its educational goals. Chapter Three has analyzed the practices (follow-up and implementation) of global education in Australian schools, from two perspectives including curriculum and teaching. Chapter IV has evaluated Global Education in Australian Schools, including features and performance, problems and shortcomings. Chapter V has present more specific inspirations and advices on the base of introduction of the status of global education development in our country. |
