Today,many countries develop their own vocational education to revitalize their economy and strengthen their National Power.In the 21st century,with the increasing of China's economy and international trade exchanges,foreign advanced technology and advanced equipment being introduced into China's enterprises,China is in urgently need of the talents who not only understand English,but also have high technical ability.However,in secondary vocational school English teaching is in great trouble.Against this backdrop,I am planning to make further exploration of the multi-level English teaching's influence which acts on secondary vocational schools education,and try to build a mode of multi-level English teaching in Secondary Vocational School to use,find the future for Secondary Vocational English teaching successfully.In the study,I dip into the theoretical basis and the present research situation of home and abroad of multi-level teaching,and reorganize them in the study firstly;I then make a comprehensive and targeted investigation into the current problems of English teaching in the city of Qin Huangdao,by questionnaires,examinations,and interviews etc.Responding to the investigation results and combined with the theoretical investigation of multi-level English teaching and the teaching experience of many years,I build a multi-level English teaching model in Secondary Vocational Schools to use;finally,I make a teaching experiment in electrical engineering department,Qin Huangdao Technician College,to test the influence of multi-level English teaching which acts on secondary vocational schools education,and also the promotion of the English teaching which gets benefit from the model building of multi-level English teaching in secondary vocational schools.At first,the result of the investigation includes:the students of Secondary Vocational Schools have big difference in English basis,they are lack of environment of competition;the teachers think the students will not promote in English study,for their big difference in knowledge structure and cognitive level;The composition of Individualized teaching is small,the students think it's beneficial to be sent to a multi-level class.Secondly,to build a multi-level English teaching model in Secondary Vocational Schools to use,we should make the students stratification principles,determine the corresponding layered target and contents,take the task layering?teaching layering?Intervention layering?assignment layering.Thirdly,the teaching experiment proves:the multi-level English teaching makes the students'performance and achievement approach the teachers' value orientation,enhances their confidence,and stimulates their internal drive in English study.In a ward,we get the conclusions though one-year-time theoretical study?investigation?model building and teaching experiment:to carry multi-level English teaching in Secondary Vocational School gives different students big promotion in English knowledge?capability?and study attitude,the teaching efficiency and the teachers' quality are greatly improved too;the model building helps teachers define goals?solidify teachers' thought,promote the implementation of the multi-level English teaching in secondary vocational schools.
