21st century is the age of information, information literacy becomes the important measure of talent. In order to adapt to the need of talent development, Education field is aggressively for curriculum reform in our country, and information technology was incorporated into required courses for primary and secondary schools. Even, in some areas to become the university entrance exam and examination subjects, Information technology is becoming more and more important. Considering the current status of information technology teaching, what way is adopted to improve the teaching of information technology to improve the junior middle school information technology teaching effect become the hot topic of scholars and teachers.In this paper we selected no difference of two classes as experimental object, a class as the experimental class, the task driven teaching in the information technology course, another class for that in comparative classes, traditional teaching methods. After more than two months of teaching, compare the results obtained by two classes, through classroom observation, questionnaire survey and interviews to analy the transition of the students' behavior and attitude. Studies show that(1) the experimental class student's result obviously higher than that in comparative classes;(2) the experimental class students' classroom learning behavior is less than that in comparative classes, experimental class of classroom situation much better than that in comparative classes;(3) the experimental classes of students attitude to information technology course and information technology is better than that in comparative classes. In a word, based on the task-driven teaching of information technology course in junior middle school has obtained the good teaching effect, can improve the defects of the present teaching. Based on the task driven teaching can and should be used in the junior middle school information technology curriculum.
