Mechanism Analysis And Channel Test Of The Social Network Influencing On The Residents' Happiness

From the perspective of the development situation of China, the economic transformation and technological progress has created enormous material wealth and improved our capita income level. But the increasing economy does not bring people happiness levels of synchronous growth.It has make us reflect:behind the high speed of economic growth, people's happiness level does not rise but lower, where is the problem? Is the expansion of income gap reducing people's happiness level, the continuation of unequal opportunity suppressing the promotion of people happiness, or other non-economic factors hampering the growth of people happiness?Although most domestic scholars have obtained certain result, who have carried on the correlation analysis from the perspective of absolute income, relative income disparity, unequal opportunity. But, in fact, the residents'happiness is not only affected by economic factors effect, but also affected by the surrounding environment, the relationships and the social network.Existing research of social network affect the residents'happiness is less.That only based on the perspective of economic factors to seek ways to solve the "happiness dilemma ",cannot provide convincing evidence. This needs us to open up a new field of happiness research to seek a new way to solve the "happiness dilemma ".Therefore, this article draw lessons from the latest research in foreign, Based on the characteristics of the economic transformation and the particular social cultural background, after clarifying the general mechanism of social network affecting the residents' happiness, using the microscopic investigation of WVS(2012) data, employing the factor analysis method and the Ordered Logistic model, deeply analyse the impact of the social network on the well-being of the residents, which through the channel of the social trust?the social comparison and the social activities.The results show that, firstly, the social network through social trust has an important effect on residents'happiness. Special trust has an important impact on happiness, general trust is one of the important promoting factor,which can highly improve residents' happiness, the government trust and the social organization trust have positive effects on residents' happiness. Second, social activities participation is an important potential influence factors on residents' happiness.Third, social network through the channels of social comparison influence residents' happiness, the higher social class identity and the economic satisfaction, the higher the level of happiness.
