| Reading is an effective way to develop students’ abilities; interest is the source for reading. From a psychological point of view, primary school students are in their golden stage for learning, which is also the best time to develop students’ interest in reading. Only the cultivation of Chinese students’ interest in reading can reinforce the basic language and improve language literacy of students. The most effective way to interest students should be Chinese teaching. However, the current drawbacks in Chinese teaching were the old concept of teaching, lack of energy, teaching form a single, rigid model of teaching, the learning situation and did not fully consider the psychological characteristics of students, evaluation mechanism, which lead to the sharp drop in interest in reading, inadequate consideration of Chinese teaching does not meet the requirements of curriculum standards and curriculum reform. Therefore,students’ interest in reading is significant.On the basis of studying literature concerning interest in reading, a comprehensive definition of the concept was given. And then, the theoretical aspects of Chinese teaching in primary school students interest were described on the point of the Principles of Psychology, Principles of Education in reading basis. In the part of the investigation of Hui County Experimental Primary School Reading interest status quo, the author conducted a survey, interviews with teachers, classroom observation three kinds of investigation, along with the development of questionnaires and interviews outline, students and teachers to understand the multi-angle and collect a lot of classroom Record, the paper provides reliable material.In this paper, After the collating and analysis of the data, the author summarizes the issues and influencing factors existing in interest reading culture. In order to develop primary school students’ interest in Chinese reading, the author proposed an efficient strategy. Guiding students to arouse keen interest in reading, to develop good reading habits, thus improving students’ interest in reading the language by changing concepts, coaching methods, the creating scenarios, evaluating and incenting to broaden the level of internal and external courses combine etc. And try to develop theevaluation form of students’ interest in reading for students to evaluate and give a bibliography fit for primary school students. I hope that the method above can help language teachers cultivate interest in reading strategies. |
