South-to-north water Diversion project is a mega-project, which is designed to balance the north and south water resources in our country, and to solve the distribution deficiency of water resources both in time and space. It is of great significance to coordinate the regional development, to optimize ecological environment and people's living environment, and to promote China's economic and social development. The implementation of the South-to-north water Diversion project produces a large number of immigrants, which has undergone earth-shaking changes on the politics, economy, culture and education of the immigration area. The government attaches great importance to the sustainable development of the immigration region, which puts forward new requirements for immigration region's education. The primary school education in the immigration region is facing new challenges and opportunities.Primary school education is the foundation of the whole education career, so the first step to improve the quality of the whole education career must start from the primary school education. In this paper, 200 pupils in immigration region's primary school and 200 pupils in local primary school, who were conducted as the research object, took the questionnaire survey. What's more, the parents and teachers in immigration region's primary school and local primary school were interviewed on by on. Through the questionnaire survey and interviews, the study found that the present situation of the primary school in the immigration region of G town, and the influence of immigration on the local primary school education.Through the research, the study discovered that after the implementation of the South-to-north water Division project, the development of immigration region's primary school has both positive and negative effects on the primary school education in G town. The positive effects mainly include: first, the good immigration education policy set an example for the local government decision-making and theoretical basis. Second, the learning and teaching environment in some rural areas of G town were improved. Third, the attitude of the parents towards their children's education had a positive change. Fourth, the teacher resources of primary education in G town were strengthened. There are also some negative effects: first, it caused the waste of education resource and unreasonable usage of education resource. Second, it exacerbated the unfair of education in rural areas of G town. Third, immigration primary school is still a lack of funds. Fourth, it caused the separation between people and their hometown, which made some farmers become "workers", and they had less time with their children. Fifth, the immigration school's students had some mental health problems after their immigration. Sixth, the left-behind children were more lack of love as the relocation and resettlement caused the separation from the relatives. Seventh, the parents and guardian did not have the correct education concept.Through the review of the existing immigration experiences and the reference from the successful experience, the study summed up several principles to help solve the problems of the primary school in immigration region. Based on these principles, the suggestions to solve the problems of immigration primary school are: first, take the whole situation into account and make the reasonable collocation of the education resources. Second, perfect the policies and regulations to ensure the fairness of policy and regulations. Third, use multi-channel to gain financial support to filling the funding gap. Fourth, change the parents' way of educating their children, and optimize the management mode. Fifth, pay more attention to immigrant students' psychological adaptation to ensure immigrant students' mental health. Sixth, focus on the left-behind children and give them special care. Seventh, eliminate immigrates' prejudice against education and help them set up the correct education concept.
